Royalty: Almost all of the royalty rode in the Westcliffe parade. Thanks for representing the club! If you are interested in riding in the Apple Day parade in Penrose on October 2nd please contact Gail at 429-3634. You will meet at her house (740 Ranger Drive) before the parade in parade attire. All club members are welcome to ride in this parade!! 2009 Winter/Spring Series: The dates and events have been set for the Spring series and are as follows: Sun. August 22nd Sun. September 12th Sun. October 3rd Western Pleasure Western Pleasure Western Pleasure Reining Horsemanship Western Riding 75 Up and Back Keyhole Flags Poles Poles Poles Goat Tying Goat Tying Goat Tying Barrels Barrels Barrels ALL EVENTS START AT 9AM
*There will be a tie breaker event of 75 Up and Back at the May show if necessary.* *A rain date of Sunday October 10th will be used in case of inclement weather.* *The awards for the spring series of shows will be buckles!*
Dues: We have many needs for the upcoming shows as far as personnel to work them. If you are a member you MUST work a show to qualify for year end prizes. Please check with Leo now and get signed up for office, arena, or concessions. If you wait until the last show there may not be a spot open and you will not qualify for year end prizes- no exceptions.
New Members: Please encourage anyone you might think is interested in joining CRRC. Also, if you know of anyone that may be able to judge a show, please contact Leo French.
